iPod game review database

Section: Software + Apps, Games, iPod + iTunes, iPod, iPod nano Soon after the launch of the iPhone 3G and the release of the iPhone 2.0 software, Appletell ran an article titled ”Will the iPhone kill iPod Click Wheel gaming?” There’s no doubt the iPhone and iPod touch were viable gaming platforms the moment the App Store opened, what with high level titles such as Super Monkey Ball and Crash Bandicoot, instantly achieving the respect that iPod games never did. Although the iPod has seen its share of A-list titles and publishers, the games often didn’t work well on the iPod, and were never met with much enthusiasm. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t some gems out there, and it doesn’t mean iPod classic and 3G nano owners need to dump their devices and get an iPhone or iPod touch just to have a quality music player that also handles games. With over 30 iPod Click Wheel games available, there’s bound to be a few worth the $4.99 charge, and this review database will help you dig up the good ones you may have missed, bury the bad ones you’re glad you missed, and watch for the news ones still coming our way. Action games deliver thrills

The truly great action films of our time — "Die Hard," "The Road Warrior," "Aliens," say — can be summed up in one word: relentless. Once they get in gear, they put the pedal to the metal and don't slow down. If only "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Whatever" had such single-minded drive.
