Two new games are now available for purchase to use on your iPod. Yahtzee and Scrabble, both from EA Mobile, are now available for purchase from the iTunes Store. I’ve bought a few games for my iPod, and they’re fun for when I’m waiting for something well listening to a few podcasts, but they definitely don’t compare to games on the DS or iPhone/iPod touch (as demoed at the SDK announcement).
Scrabble includes several levels of difficulty, a built-in world list, dynamic animations, and a scrolling and full-board view. You can play the game alone, with the computer, or the pass n’ play mode where you play and pass the iPod to a friend.
Yahtzee also has some fancy dice animations, a built-in score keeper, and several different game modes.
All iPod games are available for the 3G iPod nano, iPod classic and fifth-generation iPod and can be purchased from the iTunes Store.
